Answer: Probably not. And this type of question gives us the opportunity to briefly touch on one of the most amazing promises you can understand. There is a time coming when many will be changed to spirit; and will no longer be “flesh and blood.”
The Apostle Paul wrote in 1 Corinthians 15:50-54, "Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does corruption inherit incorruption. Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed--in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: 'Death is swallowed up in victory.'"
The Bible reveals that those who have been changed will be part of a marriage ceremony. Those who will be married to Christ will have put on garments appropriate for that occasion. Revelation 19:7-9, "'Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready.' And to her it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints. Then he said to me, 'Write: "Blessed are those who are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb!"' And he said to me, 'These are the true sayings of God.'"
What an amazing future for those who begin now to establish an everlasting relationship with our Creator and His Son. Yes, God is calling His “firstfruits” now to prepare for a glorious future. We need to seek God’s will and believe that he is a rewarder of those who seek Him.
John 6:40, "And this is the will of Him that sent me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day."
